Free Rice - Fighting World Hunger I’m sure many of you Tumblrites are aware of the existence of this amazing website but for those of you who are not I present to you another grand way to waste your time while, and hold onto your pants here, FIGHTING WORLD HUNGER. Maybe you are in class and need a distraction and want to prove your language abilities in the form of ten-grains per question. Maybe you are just sitting at home, bored as all hell, wondering, how can I maximize my usefulness while continuing to sit and watch re-runs of Iron Chef? Free Rice is your answer. They offer you the choice of answering questions concerning English Grammar and Vocabulary, German, French, Italian and Spanish, and what do they do in return for your hard concentration? 10 grains of rice per correctly answered question and each grain is donated to the United Nations World Food Program. So, what are you waiting for, linguists? Use that hard earned knowledge and help feed someone!
